When I was in Nanking my eyes were burning from the pollutants but it is also due to the various virus floating around the country. Once this has passed, will we be a masks be a common site? Stores used to have signs saying no masks can be worn in the store, now you have to put them on. I am so glad I’m French
I think they will and have to say I'm glad the majority of locals are wearing them inside of businesses. The no masks allowed was one of the first things I thought of when they first started the DIY bandana masks around here. It is very common to see kids run around with bandanas around necks on heads in a pocket etc for as long as I can remember and to be honest those are the ones you give a second glance. I think masks in general will be the new norm and regardless of if you believe it's fact or you lick pennies and look for men in black trench coats under your bed..it's common sense and courtesy when among groups. Humans are nasty, think about all the snoting, wheezing and talking with our mouths full we do. We swap bacteria like it's going out of style. What gets lost and ignored is the mask isn't for you it's for the people you come across and vice a versa. If I see someone coughing in a store and they aren't masked up, now they get the second glance. We seemed to get that for the first few weeks on what was a unified front for the most part. This Country cannot unite worth a shat now. At least for longer than a month.

    That is gibberish.
Do you think that the owners of small businesses forced to shut down have any say in the matter?
if say inthe matter equals to free speech, then yes they have a say. But you're comment has little to do with what I wrote about opening too early and getting hit hardest by farther waves of the virus or even if it is proved to be a biological weapon , it is too early to open up back.
The movement to reopen businesses is anything but an elitist, money making movement.
Who is more of an elitist than Jeff Bezos? Amazon has flourished through all of this.
Who is more elitist than the Walton family? Business is booming at Walmart. They were allowed to remain open.
So was Home Depot, Lowes, and so were all the major grocery chains. Business is booming for them, too.
The people getting wrecked are the people that own barber shops, restaurants, and small businesses. And the people that pour drinks, wait tables, cut hair and do nails, and the people that play music.
You can still stay home if that's what you want to do, if you are the kind of person that has never been in a real boxing gym or never had good tacos because you are afraid of bad neighborhoods. God bless you. But the idea that you should have any say about how others choose to function is profoundly arrogant.
I didn't click your bait when you say to me gibberish
I didn't click your bait when you say profoundly arrogant.
I didn't click you bait to assume to me no boxing gyms and tacos.
WHen other s choose to function to risk to the others healths, that is what is profoundly arrogant.
    and God bless you too.
are you french again this time? or was that just walrus?
The new guy hasn’t determined where he is from. He was rallying against how bad Americans are Saying “they” but now he is one.
