Exactly, when those same elderly have cancer later or other serious issues there will be no way to fund it unless society functions. We are able to live beyond 40 because our way of running society has been successful. People knock it, but when your average life expectancy is the late 70's you are in a pampered age. It came from development and able minds. Good luck getting to 70 in some of the shithole countries and without economy, industry and intelligence then you become a shithole country too. Got to function and operate.

Children have been spreading the virus asymptomatically especially in a school setting. They live with the elderly and that has been extremely dangerous as we can see. Today over 200 new cases of CHILDREN in New York City diagnosed with Kawasaki post-covid 19 "recovery", it's not just arguing anal retentive "death rate only" stats like a zombie, how about those permanent lung, liver, kidney damages in children and adults, what does anally arguing just death accomplish, except scoring sick brownie points like you just won some kind of sick game? Permanent lung, liver, kidney damages and now this new wave spiking in kids who already supposedly recovered from Covid, of Kawasaki disease? None of that matters to selfish assholes. Only "death" stats matters. ?? Researchers in Germany recently determined that "children are 88% as infectious as adults." They cautioned against reopening schools at all. "symptoms are not a good predictor of infection since adults and children still excrete viral particles when they're asymptomatic." Scientists also haven't found any difference in the viral loads (the amount of viral particles released into the environment) of children versus adults.
"Based on these results, we have to caution against re-opening of schools and kindergartens in the present situation," the German researchers wrote. "Children are as infectious as adults."
Similarly, a CDC study concluded that "persons with asymptomatic and mild disease, including children, are likely playing a role in transmission and spread of COVID-19."

The coronavirus has triggered a 31-fold jump in cases of a serious but rare pediatric inflammatory disease, according to Italian and American studies that provide an ominous warning to other pandemic-affected nations about the risk to children.
A detailed analysis from Bergamo, the epicenter of the Italian Covid-19 outbreak, found 19 cases of a Kawasaki disease-like illness in children, adding to reports of about 200 similar cases from New York and England.
Gandalf, let them eat cake, right?

Brock, stop virtue signalling. You are the fakest person imaginable. You wanted maximum carnage from this virus. I have it on record, so quit with the posturing bullshit.
All you do lately is cite individual cases or small studies. Is Boris Johnson working with completely messed up lungs too? Not really.

@TIC don’t ruin this for Brock, he has been hoping for something like this as long as he has been here. Usually it was hopping for a massive terrorist attack but still he is pleased with this. He must embrace the left and it’s spokesman CNN as this is his moment. He would be even more joyous if me or miles or both of us got it.

The governer of Florida is hiding the total death numbers in the State by not counting post death (those that died at home or hospitals, with symptoms of covid-19 but were never tested) medical examiners covid-19 positive test numbers, non residents who die in state & not forwarding that information to home state , the numbers from prisons ,nursing homes etc. to get the state to open & please Trump who wants states to open despite not meeting even his own guidelines or the CDC's & is encouraging protesters in defiance of states governors all to try to improve the economy numbers to help his reelection.

The firing of a Florida state health official who says she refused orders to change data on coronavirus cases has raised questions about some of the statistics that governors have used to justify ending lockdown orders.
Rebekah Jones, who designed and managed the state’s COVID-19 dashboard, told CBS News 12 in West Palm Beach that her departure earlier this month was “not voluntary” and that she was removed from her position because she was ordered to censor some data. She said she refused to “manually change data to drum up support for the plan to reopen.”
