act, believe it or not, prohibited American trade with all nations—period. The act stopped the bulk of American trade, hurting the nation's economy. In
fact, it TOTALLY FUCKING DESTROYED and wrecked the economy of New England, which relied 100% on trade to support its economy.

The ever-so "slight" difference between Hitler and all the Jeffersons of the past is that Nazism was a pseudo-scientific ideology deliberately exterminating everything it didn't agree with; it was a destructive movement.
