For a guy who mostly fought like he was a power puncher Tim should cut some slack. Then again he still thinks he actually beat Manny 8-4 so

Have Valdez more frequent harder lumber last round 8th. Lost track of 7th have no idea . Huh that's a convenient point deduct on Velez for what looked like only first infraction.

Looked like it might go the distance... but Velez just got worn out. First stoppage loss for him, which is surprising given how mediocre he is.

Berchelt v Valdez is a top notch fight. But even if Valdez would have stopped Velez in the 1st you'd have to lean to Berchelt. One fight doesn't totally 'improve' a guy but announce team shat all over Valdez to be honest

Valdez has so much promise but the broken jaw at the hands of Quigg completely changed the trajectory of his career. I think that Berchelt easily beats Baldez. I don’t think that Valdez has looked great since he has come back from the broken jaw and Berchelt is the real deal.
