The New Legends of Monkey, which is on Netflix, is very poor.
The original Monkey Magic which is nearly 40 years old had more action, better fights and characters. How can something so new be so bad?

In the process of watching...
Spartacus. I know it's old now and it's total pony. But the blood and sex keep it moving along. I'm into season three now, I think there are four. It's got so much that I hate, changing characters, the slow mo blood spillage, the rock music in the arena, the dodgy accents. I hate it all. But can't stop watching for some reason. John Hannah as a bad guy, hate him.
Prodigal Son. Son of notorious mass murderer becomes a twisted genius type psychological profiler to hunt down murderers. Aided by his mass murderer Dad. Michael Sheen as a bad guy, great. Tom Payne, like him. His stay as Jesus in TWD was far too brief.

Black Sails - Basically a prequel to Treasure Island. The story of how Long John Silver came to prominence and how Billy Bones ended up on Skeleton Island and then wandering into a bar with a map. Really enjoyed it. Flint, Silver, Teach, Vane, Rackham. All brilliant.

Currently juggling the Mandalorian and finally started Cobra Kai over the weekend. Initial thought is why in the hell did they have poor Johnny hit the skids so hard. Man talk about down in the dumps, that crane kick really messed him up. Both addictive as hell though and well done so far.

Yeh have to admit that when I first saw Mandalorian I was really hoping it was centered more on actual Boba Fett and some guild of Bounty hunters. Still good, but gets a little too cute with the Baby Yoda stuff and have to think the makers figured that in with viewership in mind.
Has anyone watched The Boys? It is like an adult or real life version of if the Avengers/Justice League existed. These heroes are corrupt who are money and fame hungry. Was watching it with the kids but had to turn it off as it was not appropriate for them.
