If I was in charge of the worse case scenario figures and I wanted to strike fear into people. I'd say everyone dies. It seems logical to me.

That said, I didn't watch the broadcast so with a bit of context those numbers might make a little more sense and have some meaning. I assume you did watch it so fill in the blanks for me.

Does Australia currently have a mild pandemic and 21000 deaths? If the case that's easy to digest. If it gets more severe it's going to be 53000? Is that the magic number that initiates the 'more severe' protocol? Worse case, yeah I'm still going with everyone dies as a far better alternative.

Or is it the vagueness of the whole thing that bothers you?
but you are not in charge so why try to make that argument? those are not my figures. that is what was estimated on March forth & shown on the tv. we have yet to even hit five hundred alleged deaths. if you want to play insults we can go that way but you seem a bit smarter than that so you should be able to work out the problem here yeh

OK now it starts to make a little sense. On March 4th, these figures are what Australia deem to be a mild, severe pandemic, with a worst case of 96000 dead. Gotcha. To be fair it still needs a little more context. Maybe it's just the way I look at things but if someone says look, we need 21000 of you fuckers dead before this is even a mild pandemic, that doesn't say fear to me. That sounds typically Australian. Granted my experience of Australians is gathered from watching cricket and Neighbours.

    I didn't insult you. I'm not smart.

this is what their model predicted the deaths would be. between twenty one thousand & ninety six thousand deaths. we must have a different understanding of the word silly. you seem smarter than some

it's just a deceptive tactic. i understand what you meant & maybe you did it unknowingly but it doesn't address the fact of an exaggerated prediction
