I have talked to Geralds sister Lisa and am aware of the lies and embelishments that happened that night after the cameras were off and he was fighting for his life in the hospital..The truth is Nigel was no were to be found that night he never visited Gerald or his family to this day...

Gerald in his state is doing much better today than what the documentary a few years ago lent to ...Lisa told me he has his wits about him and has his mischiveous personality(In a Good Way)...His sisters love him very much and sacrafice there time for taking care of him..He will never see again but she tells me he is very much aware of what is going on around him...I hope to be out to visit him by the beginning of next year...

THe truth is Nigel is riddled in guilt for what happened to Gerald after the repeated fouls and the state it left Gerald in....Gerald has been asked since then by his sister what he thought about Nigel,,,And his response suprised me..He elluded to the fact that why should we be bitter towards Nigel when he wasn't ....He said he knew what being a fighter entailed and he was willing to accept the consequences...When I heard that it brought a tear to my eye....So I can give a shite what you haters think of Gerald

Gerald was never convicted of a felony was he No he wasnt Rags, Thats my point..... Also I had several family members serve in Nam and are well aware of what it was like thru there recounting, as well as a guy I used to work with that did 3 tours of duty and was shot in the abdomen ... They served but Ali didnt

Again B-hop convicted felon

Ali- draft dodger and racist commited adultery on a few occasions

Tyson convicted Rapist...

And countless others who have made mistakes along the way...

Again does Karma inflict a horrific blow to there lives so as to have them be blind deaf and mentally incapacitated I am not condoning animal abuse Allegedly or otherwise.....I like Gerald for what he did in the ring not outside...Most of us have skeletons in the closet over 1 thing or another but I would never wish or advocate anyone fall to tragic circumstances such as that.....

Remember Gerald was only 28 when this happened Ali was at the height of his "Indiscretions" when he was 28....There is no telling what kind of person Gerald could have been..He will never have that opportunity to atone for past transgressions.....
