ON @NoSavingByTheBell point, I'd say good initiative poor judgement? I agree on your position that mandating masks back then might not have been a feasible response.

My sisters fella has been feeling rough since Sunday, got himself tested and it came back yesterday to say that he has Covid-19, that means that my sister her 3 kids and my Mom and Dad have all gotta isolate for the next 14 days....he was back in the pub today.
