I’m very high on Lopez but I think many people forget that Loma is arguably the best p4p fighter in the world today. Lopez hasn’t proven to be that level yet. If Lopez does win, I think his size advantage will be a big factor.

Vasyl Lomachenko will return to the ring later this month following over a year out due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
‘The Matrix’, widely regarded as the pound-for-pound king, beat British fighters Anthony Crolla and Luke Campbell in 2019 to retain his WBA and WBO belts.
Lomachenko has claimed victories over a host of big names in his professional career to date and is now gearing up to take another scalp.
Amid the complications facing global sport during the coronavirus pandemic, news of his next fight has been slow in coming but now he is ready to enter the squared-circle once again.
Lomachenko will be in action on Saturday, October 17 when he faces off against Teofimo Lopez at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
‘El Brooklyn’ Lopez is the IBF lightweight champion and will put his belt on the line against Lomachenko’s titles.
Lopez has an undefeated record from his 15 fights to date and last beat Richard Commey in Madison Square Garden in December 2019.

Wonder if Lopez pulling off a big win is in a way 'better' for boxing. The fact that they're fighting is all I care about but what next should Loma win. Any talk of moving up where some big talents at 140 are themselves talking of 147. Does he stick around for a Garcia or Haney who are also considered still young and yet to face a top name. Though Garcia is set for Campbell and to Haney choice the later side of 40 yr old Gamboa. Winner of Santa Cruz v Davis most likely baring a rematch. Then again whos to say that if Lopez pulls the win he may just move right up himself.
And to get ahead of it...this is on regular ESPN. That Saturday Oct 17th is stacked with more College Football than you can count, 10-13 games. They better have a back up plan if they run over as not to delay a main event of this caliber.

I really want to stay up and watch this fight. Lopez is a cocky arrogant but talented kid when I heard him on the radio. He said he is he bigger fighter and will win this. He wants to move up after this fight. Hope Loma wins but this will be a tough match for him. Credit both fighters and no ppv which is respectful to the boxing fans.

ppv in this country
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I still think that Loma wins it. I think that Lopez is a very good young fighter and is a live dog but Loma is much more proven. There’s a reason he is consensus too 3 p4p fighter and even #1 on a lot of lists. Although I am pulling for Lopez.
The closer this gets the closer to 50/50 I see it.
Is size and power gonna be the key in this one?
Heads still sayin Loma wins it, points or maybe late stoppage.
Has Lopez even been hit hard and often yet? Or has he always just had things go his own way in his fights so far?
He might not lot it if he's getting hit some, and his face might cut up easily if he's tagged enough for all we know?
I really can't call it!!![]()
