JMM fight rescheduled plus D Hops next fight

Juan Manuel Marquez (45-3-1, 34 KOs) of Mexico will defend his interim featherweight belt on HBO's Nov. 25 "Boxing After Dark" card, a month after his Oct. 21 bout against Jimrex Jaca of the Philippines was cancelled because of Jaca's visa problems. Promoter Golden Boy was able to put Marquez into the main event because the original Nov. 25 main event -- the lightweight title bout between Jesus Chavez and Julio Diaz -- fell out when Chavez decided not to take the fight. There are three potential opponents for Marquez: European champ Nicky Cook (26-0, 15 KOs) of England; Argentina's Sergio Manuel Medina (26-0, 15 KOs), who would move up from junior featherweight; and Jaca (27-2-1, 12 KOs), who could have his visa problems sorted out in time for the fight. Cook is the first choice, but he has a Dec. 9 fight scheduled against titlist Scott Harrison. However, Harrison is in jail in Spain and that bout is in jeopardy. The Nov. 25 HBO undercard will feature junior welterweight contender Demetrius Hopkins (24-0-1, 10 KOs), probably against Antonio Mesquita (33-0, 26 KOs), a native of Brazil based in Las Vegas.

Looks like my boiiiiii D Hop has a job on! Pretty confident he will pull it out though, he looks a very promising fighter. JMM will win that quite comfortably, because he needs to now no chance for another error.

From what i have seen of him he looks very tasty mate. Alot of people are saying alot of good things about him, plus hes in my stool on Killersheeps sports book so lets hope so!

Yep, he's a really good prospect. Good boxer, is getting the fundamentals down.. Plus he has shown that sneaky, deceptive right hand power his uncle has. If he has his uncles work ethic he could really become a great fighter imo.

Bhop is currently his manager.. I really don't know why there hasn't been more talk about him moving in to train him, maybe in time it will happen. Was hoping to find a couple clips on youtube to put up but I can't find any.. I would say the last 20 seconds of his last fight , and the full 2 fights before that, showcase his skills. (His latest fight was a slow performance he gave some early rounds away but the KO itself was excellent. Very sweet right hand, shows that sneaky power.
