I've just noticed this recently, why do you Americans call a Cinema a Theater? :P

That's where you see plays and dances and shit...

What pisses me off is when people talk excessivly in the Cinema... don't mind a bit of noise but some people go there as if they are having a meal or just hanging out...

I wouldn't mind... but our city's cinema is part of a giant entertainment multplex... night clubs... bars... casinons... clubs... restuarants... yet people go into the cinema to talk?...
