Does Lama have the power at lightweight to do any real damage against a big lightweight?. As I've said Lopez is a very good counter puncher with power.

Will always pick Loma until he fights the best in a division, then will probably still pick him.

Guess good news is College football has been cancelled. Undercard kicking off now should guarantee a clean start time.
Wondering if Lopez is beat up and far behind which way will his fiery Dad go in the corner and how much of that constant bravado Lopez tries to sure up.
It might be just me but I thought Lopez looked a little drained at the weigh-in.

Good evening guys. Ready for a good night of boxing. Spirited initial scrap to start off the proceedings.![]()
Those cards were pretty wide for that 1st fight.

Garcia was the best in the division. Top Rank refused that fight repeatedly. Wouldn’t even negotiate. After months and months of questioning Bob finally said “I refuse to negotiate with him, we’ll make him an offer he can take it or leave it” then he never made that offer. Even though Mikey kept contacting everyone at Top Rank about the fight.
As for if it’s the best after refusing Garcia, I don’t know, maybe Tank is, maybe Haney is. The young guns are all unproven. Hard to say who number 2 is. Teo looks like the guy. So respect to Loma for fighting one of the young guns.

Vargas one of those guys who puts his hands together with footwork really nicely. Nothing huge but moves with openers and closers. Castaneda steadier now but getting nicked up a bit.

Bradley nitpicking on Vargas, who's pitching a shutout so far.
