Yes.
He won the tournament destroying top rated opponents with brutal power. The veteran Donnaire did well going the distance but even that showed his heart because he was seriously injured to the eye and still won.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Great feedback. I have a great deal of respect for my brothers here at Saddo boxing. I may have over look something. I don't put much stock in the donaire fight because he is 4-3 in his last 7 fights. As I said he is good but a top pound for pound, I need to see more.
Naoya Inoue is the biggest p4p puncher in boxing today.

as a amateur fighter in the Army and later a trainer I like to study film. I see a good fighter in Naoya. Good moment and is a busy fighter. Both things I like. I also see some big mistakes. When he is coming in to punch he is so wide open. A good counter puncher could really make him pay for that. People called me crazy when I said the same thing about Vic Darchinyan. People had him at #1 p4p.
Inoue has crazy ring awareness and anticipation. You don't do what he's done to absolutely top-flight fighters without being a #1 p4p candidate. He was due a war, just so we could see the other side of him... whether he'd have the stamina and heart to win a war... and we got that against Donaire. I don't think he's overrated at all.
