    Ho! Ho!

    Ha! Ha!

You wish. Just grow up and either not pretend you are so special that you can't eat cake with the commoners or go and wind your watches up.
Actually my favorite watches are automatic and technically you don’t need to wind them. The motion of your hand/arm winds them. I do have mechanical watches which are the ones you must wind. Actually when I do repairs it’s easier to work on mechanical watches. Watches are very intricate and have fantastic history behind them. I do have a couple watches that are probably obscenely priced but to be honest with a couple hundred bucks you can buy an automatic watch that will literally last generations if you care for it properly. It’s just a good healthy distraction and a lot of fun trying to find an interesting watch with history on the cheap. I got a 1960 diver in mint condition for 130 bucks.

    Ha!

The last watch I wore had a battery in it and cost less than 20 squid. I have actually been taking to pieces clocks and barometers to build some props for a film.

They don't have enough clocks in public places anymore. Who wants to get their phone out all the time if they are not wearing a watch?
