That's acceptable behaviour right?
No way. You need to be fired.
Dude I gotta tell you I think it’s kinda common for people to do this shit nowadays. I notice even though it’s zoom and it’s supposed to be face to face half the people are blocking their screens so you will just see a dark box that says “ellas iphone” or some shit. I really think a lot of people are getting sick of it but it is good being that you don’t have to travel to meetings anymore. I think they feel kinda cold and impersonal but we have had some funny ones at work. Peoples cats will stick their face in the screen sometimes
Ah yes the pets. We have competitions in work to see who can send in the best pet pic whilst working from home. It was sweet at the start but that kind of shit gets old really quick. I sent in a picture of Dougs arse. He has a pristine arsehole. Didn't make the newsletter.

In my defence. I am trialing a new VPN client that has some wizardry that maintains connection no matter the location, network or cell service. So it was a field test. I'm a terrible employee. Great liar.
Ha yeah my wife is working from home most days although she needs to go in and use the lab a couple times a week. I notice she and her coworkers will give each other warning txts make sure they didn’t fall asleep or order something on amazon etc. I actually go to work everyday and I’ll come home and my wife will tell me “don’t tell anyone but I did a wash while I was supposed to be working.” I ask her who the hell am I going to tell, well apparently I’m telling an international forum. So sorry honey I just told everyone. I was home one day she was “working from home” and I caught her napping at her desk. I found that kind of funny. In her defense though she does work hard from home. She will keep working on programs until 8p sometimes later. She is one of those honest to a fault people and will guilty about doing house work so she will make up the time even if no ones looking. I gotta say if I was working from home I think it would be to distracting, I don’t think I’d do well. I did it for two weeks at the onset of the shutdown and it was a real struggle to stay in that seat in front of the computer.
