    well u could say same about tyson when he stepped up in class he always got beat aswell he lost the mega fights against douglas lewis holy twice tua is very good fighter and people who say tyson would blow him out in 1st round are totally wrong tua was in war with ike and took ike punches and he threw like 900s punches tua would give tyson hell of a tough fight a possibly could of won with his sort of power tyson is good fighter just not what people make out like he would beat foreman fraizer ect is just nonsense tyson is good but not great
    I think your dead wrong. Guess that's all there is to it. Foreman and Frazier were not superior fighters to Iron Mike. I think Foreman would have beaten him, perhaps even badly, in a prime vs prime matchup, but that's more to do with styles then anything, Foreman would have killed almost any shorter puncher. Tua was in a war with Ike sure, but Ike was not Mike Tyson.. He was nowhere near as fast, skilled, or explosive. He was a hell of a hard hitter for sure but I would still say Mike must have hit a little harder in his prime and threw far better combinations. Tua has never given a performance that would indicate he would even have a good shot vs a prime Tyson imo. He has been outboxed by Rahman, Oleg Maskaev, Fres Oquendo, Lewis, and he was outslugged by Ike, it just wouldn't happen imo Tyson had enough ability to beat him either way

    im not saying tua would of won but he would give tyson tough fight ike is prolly one of best fighters of the 90s the guy was a freak with that workrate and i scored it a draw tua only lost sd no shame in that tua has never been stopped and i dont think he has ever been knocked down but this is how i see it

    POWER= NOT ALOT IN IT EDGE TO TYSON
    SPEED= TYSON
    CHIN=TUA
    HEART=TUA
    WORKRATE= WELL AGAIN TUA THREW 700S PUNCHES IN IKE FIGHT NOT ALOT IN THE WORKRATE ID SAY POSSIBLY EVEN IN THIS DEPARTMENT
    HEADMOVEMENT= TYSON

    I thinkTyson was a little to strong and a little to fast for Frazierv ( prime versus prime).....

    I don't care what anyone says Tson was faster than Foreman but I am sorry but I will stand behind this til my days end....No one and I do mean NO ONE!!!!!.....Was as hard a hitter as a young Foreman when he won the title the first time...His power was actually freightning and I don't mean that as a metaphore...He was out right F"WKING scary....If he caught Tyson on a regular basis for two or three rounds it would have been over....And IMO George would have survived Tysons early assult

    I think its definitely fair to say Foreman would have stopped Tyson in their primes. I think back on the Ron Lyle fight and think that its possible for Tyson to hurt George a bit, but Foreman had already lost to Ali and didn't carry his invincibility cloak around him like he did in the Frasier/Norton fights.

    However, Frasier vs Tyson would have been like either one of them shadowboxing their own image in a mirror. They both had wild lunging left knockout hooks and both came straight at you. I give the power edge to Mike, but i give the stamina edge to Frasier.

    Those two could fight ten times with ten different outcomes.

    As far as Tua is concerned, he was a fun to watch fighter with good power. Nothing spectacular though, his praise is REALLy born out of a desire from you, the fans, NEEDING another squat heavy-handed KO artist. The needing, unfortunately, does not make it so.

    You know what that is very well put...I don't 100% agree with it but it was well put...and to a large point true

    i dont care what anyone says,foreman was way to slow for tyson,tyson knocks him da fuk out!!

    the ali foreman fight is a good example of foremans ponderous mummy style,though still huge credit for ali for taking some of those big shots but no way tyson would waste his energy like that just wailing away,he would pick his shots and combos with pricission.....tyson would be all over foreman imo and there power was on par imo but primed tysons elusivness would get inside and ko big george!

    so the question and statement is as follows..
    ive seen a fair few tua knockout clips right... and ive never seen anyone who he has put down, get back up!
    just never seen it, so has everyone who he has sent to the deck stayed there?
    peace

    He was one bad a** Somouan (Did I spell that right) but he disappointed me in the Lewis fight, I thought he would knock Lennox out, but it looked like he was not even trying to launch the big hook.
    i didnt see the lewis fight but i knew he had lost to him! i figured it was prob just one of those inbetween lennox match's where theyr not good but not bad?!
    lol i think its samoan? maybe? who knows :P
    yeh sometimes they jus dont show up in the right mindset and it just never happens they jus dont pick up?!
    peace
    I would still pay for a Tyson Vs Tua fight to this day.
    so would i!!...but both in there primes,tyson destroyes tua in 1..by the way bomber did u sc me,was the oral that bad ahh cmon i give great rim baby!
    no way tua would get koed in 1 tua is one tough mofo he would take tyson the full 12 and could very well ko tyson he has got great power himself and great workrate
    imo tua is to one dimentional,he just walks straight in,no head movement.thats why i think tyson would blow him out very quick,maybe not one round but it would not go the distance...tua isnt in the same league as primed up tyson
    SPOT ON! Couldnt of said it better meself!
    thanks mate,have one back #202!

    How many of Foremans fights have you seen when he was prime?

    enough to determine that tyson would whoop his ass!!.....imo i never thought much of george foreman as a boxer hes slow and throws lazy punches ,tyson would be to much for him and most of the greats.....do u disagree?

    its a shame tua lost his way a bit after the lewis fight, plus he's had injurys and his upward moving weight and advancing age ( he's 33 i believe ) have i feel now robed him off most of his abilits, but having said that if he's once again focused and in shape he could yet pick up a world title
