Callum Smith by decision, credit to Canelo for taking this dangerous fight, both have probably been training during the lockdown as there is nothing else to do.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I think a lot depends on fight night weights. I'm pretty sure about Canelo ballooning up significantly (which is why I don't buy his "not being a legit 175 to challenge Beterbiev). But Callum I know nothing about as far as size and fight night weights.
I am sure Callum is naturally bigger than Alvarez and is huge for super middleweight. He out classed and destroyed George Groves to win the Ali trophy and mini-tournament.
If he brings that motivation and form with all things being equal I am quite certain he beats Canelo. I see Smith start fast and build a strong lead as he has the height and reach advantage. Canelo fighting back mid rounds but Callum finishing strong.
The only worry I have is the judges but a decisive lead will be enough to win the fight.

Good fight.
Callum has a lethal left hook, height, size and we shouldn’t judge his whole career on the Ryder loss..I meant fight.
Ok so... so much for the size advantage. Box checked off.
Judges. Ahh.... yeah, THERE'S a worry. Seems the fight's in Texas (Why TF doesn't Canelo fight anywhere outside of Vegas and Texas??). Thankfully, crowd noise won't be a factor to sway already biased judges.
But as to what you stated: "... but a decisive lead will be enough to win the fight." C'mon man.![]()

You're a veteran boxing fan, just like me.
Do you really think a decisive lead will be enough to win the fight?
If it's not a knockout, there would have to be enough knockDOWNS, which of course require 10-8 rounds, to make it mathematically impossible for even CJ Ross to give the fight to Canelo.
Absolutely perfect fight for Callum. He makes a load of money and win or lose , he will go to Light Heavyweight next fight.
When I say win or lose, I mean lose. He won’t knock Canelo out, and he won’t get a points decision in the US.
I don't think the judges or weights will make any difference here. Canelo wins handily because he's much better, imo.
Canelo wouldnt have taken this if he didn't see something in Callum.
Calum Chin sticking out if he can get near it.
Calum uses size well, but not the boxer Canelo is.
