The fight that is most demanded for Calzaghe is Kessler. And Calzaghe is not interested. The fight that was most demanded for Hatton was Floyd Mayweather or Vivian Harris, but Hatton thought he would have gotten an easy win over Collazo.

I don't know if its a British thing, but why don't British fighters start stepping up to the plate. There was a time when Trinidad fought Vargas, Joppy and Hopkins in one stretch. There was a time when Hopkins fought Taylor twice then went on to fight Tarver. There was a time when Oscar fought Vargas, Sturm, Hopkins and Mayorga, all in one stretch.

British fighters need to put up or shut up. And if Calzaghe or Hatton don't fight anyone of credibility anytime soon, I will consider them fakes.
It's a pretty much known fact that British fighters aren't as tough as American fighters. Growing up in the streets of let's say London (do cops have guns?) like Nigel Benn claims is no where near as dangerous as growing up in the streets of Detroit. Like James Toney did. Not only that most British fighters are seriously overrated by the British public. So they get really protected. Easy opposition. Bogus titles. Bias referee. All that S*** is not provided for them in America.
You don't have to go across the pond to find fighters fighting easy opposition, bias judges and referess, and bogus titles....
Yeah you right. But fighters like Mayweather or Jones don't have there own ref in there pockets like Hatton or Calzaghe do.

ARE YOU CRAZY MOTHERFUCKER
lol the streets of london are as crazy as anywhere else mann!!
people get killed beaten stabbed raped abducted all the time just like any other large city...
most big city's and capitals etc .. they all have ghetto's!!
lol peace
I'm pretty sure it is
yeh of course thats it, every british fighter has a referee in theyr pocket,
give me three examples of how ricky hatton for the sake of arguement, of how ricky hatton.. has had a referee in his pocket and had any favours?

and also have you been to both the roughest spots in london and detroit?
fair enough im not ssayin that detroit or wherever in america .. etc is not rougher then a motherfucker?
im not saying that, but it aint fair to say that places in england are all nice and aint no places anywhere near as rough as america etc..
what is it based on? i mean the sole reason that maybe 1 in 10 fighters that are good boxers and tough guys is simple... one theres ten times as many people in america...
two.. theres alot of skilled fighters in england that can only fight in england or europe,
and the fact is great american fighters are in america and they dont have to go nowhere cos america is where it is at , where the money is at!!
peace
Go watch the Kostya Tszyu fight. And tell me he didn't foul like a muthafucka. Hell, when doesn't he foul like a muthafucka? Do points get taken away? Hell no. What's that, you want more examples? Calzaghe-Mitchell. A hurt Calzaghe is practically asking the referee to stop the fight. And the ref does in the second round with Mitchell landing the last punch. Nigel Benn-Gerald McClellan. Look at the first round and count how many times the ref pulled and got in between G-man who was trying to finish the out on his feet Benn. Giving Benn time to recover. Dr. Pacheco who was doing the fight for Showtime was going crazy at that. If it wasn't for the ref's constant breaking them up, Benn would not of made it out the first round. If you can't see the truth in my facts, than your fuckin blind.
lol the only thing i seen in hatton-tzsyu is the real badass lunging uppercut to the balls after they get split up cos kostya hit hatton low twice!!.. thats fair play!! he only hit back...
another example... yes it might sound like im digging myself a hole .. but stevie smith..
gets cut in the second round after he got caught with an elbow, wasnt intentional atall.. that is just how ricky fights... but ricky is a brawler and a mauler he gets wayy on the inside and roughs his opponents up! thats how referee's dont see whats going on! not because they are in the pocket man!
it might even be the fact that some english refs are just shit? but they aint in the pocket!
concerning calzaghe i dont care bout the guy.. im not a fan.. no i didnt see the fight cos i have no time for joe ' hey you lying in that gutter! wana fight me' calzaghe...
and as for the benn mclellan fight.. yes what you say is correct.. the ref was making mistakes, it was a huge fight and i cant excuse the referee's behaviour, its not my fault and not my problem.. lol be honest i wouldnt have been greatly fussed if benn had of been stopped in the first! would have probably saved the g mans life! but at the same time the ref could be shit be he aint corrupt..
like the jcc fight where he got his butt whooped for twelve rounds and it was stopped because of a good punch like 25 secs before the end... that was just a bad decision at a bad time.. i dont go hollering that the ref was corrupt.. i jus accept he made a mistake!! lol
also i think just because ricky has a rough style and he fights that way the fact that he is a dirty fighter is blown way out of proportion!!..
hell how can he be? he showers three or four times a day
peace
Good to know your not blind. And unlike some of these other posters, I respect your views
