Just watched the fight. Tanaka was very game and unlike what the commentator was saying, I thought that he was winning most of the rounds. Ioka was patient though and being a veteran, allowed Tanaka to throw and was content with using the counter.

Can’t take anything away from Tanaka because he was going for history, but Ioka is a big step up for a new weight. Ioka is proving to be legit though. He needs to fight the winner of Estrada and Chocolatito.

Good scrap. Never watched Tanaka fight before. Big heart just not sure what his game plan was. He really straight lined up in front of Ioka and didn't move his head much. Ioka was top notch with the short step back and timing until the left hooks went overtime.
