When Black Lives Matter protesters march down a street holding signs... as ALL protesters have a right to do in these United States... I don't sit there dwelling on what their obscure, maybe underhanded founders may be or not be doing. I'm focusing on why these decent citizens are out there marching in the first place. Usually it's following a murder of a black person caught on video (thank God for phone cameras), without any filtering, without any sneaky coverup cop-to-cop, without any news bias wanting to blame the black guy all the time. They are marching out of well-founded fears that any of them or their families could be racially profiled and therefore subjected to police abuse without warning or any provocation. How many of those worries do YOU entertain every day? I thought so. So we'll continue focusing on different aspects of BLM, where you prefer to go upstairs and dismiss the whole movement because of some rotten apples...... and I'll continue focusing on the people and issues themselves. Thank God not everyone thinks like you on this topic (no disrespect intended).... because honestly all of jack shit would be done about the very real racial issues in this country.

When you attempt to force me to equate BLM protests with Trump supporters storming the Capitol, you're wanting me to accept your premise that they're totally similar in nature. They're not. Presidential election. One candidate won... the other one lost. If that's enough to make people invade the Capitol, that's on them (and the (cough) "leader" who sat there and did absolutely ZILCH before making a half-hearted, forced message a week later). Outraged Trump fans storming the Capitol. None of them fearful of being racially profiled in the street and abused by police. All of them stoked to rage by nonstop, 24/7 incendiary propaganda about Massive Voter Fraud, where I repeat the onus is on the accusers to prove their points... not on the system to prove its innocence.

    Apples and oranges.

Your fear of being taken over by Socialists/Communists, etc. is one I've heard from Trump supporters within my relatives ranks, particularly young ones that live in the States. I'm not trying to downplay any of your fears. All I'm saying is that these fears are nothing new, as in "all of a sudden." Yet they seem to have grown at a feverish pace during Trump's reign. Why is that? I'd venture to say it has to do with Trump himself. Slowly... continuously... like the proverbial drop of water on the stone... Trump has engrained this fear in most of his fan base. All of a sudden Trump is the only "savior" that can possibly stop this rising tide of Communism/Marxism, whatever. The rhetoric would have people believe that there's this "cabal-like" machinery with Biden as its head (or puppet) that is just waiting for the election din to die down before the gears start moving again.

Ok... and what of the American people. What of the checks and balances built into the American governmental system. What of the more sensible people among the Trump haters who just wanted Trump the HELL out of there, but want no part of this gloom and doom future you're painting. Why is Trump painted as the Superman that will save American from this global evil? He's nothing but a 70-some year old punk. A bully... a dumb one at that. Incapable of even verbally communicating at the levels we're become accustomed to hear other Presidents speak. A psychologist would have a fucking field day with Trump. He's got so many personality issues it's not even funny.

To the mentally weak, the term apples and oranges is applied randomly without any rhyme or reason. Like a hypocrite would do. Actually I shouldn't say LIKE a hypocrite. It is actually the poster child of hypocrisy, unless the mental weakness really is the cause, then that person can be excused from willful hypocrisy.

Apples and oranges is voting for Joe Jorgensen and supporting the constitutional right, THE HUMAN RIGHT, to pursue legal action to preserve election integrity. That's apples and oranges.

but in retrospect we could be dealing with some pineapples here instead LOL.

    HELL, I could see if a person voted for candidate A, then turned on the candidate due to certain geopolitical policies he or she practiced/extreme disagreement about Mask wearing, and then turned around and voted AGAIN for candidate A. {And even then they certainly would have the right to do it, because in their mind it just could have been the choice of the lesser of two evils.}

But fucking hell, Joe Jorgensen was my Lamborghini Countache (heh heh, literally in 1987), but since I couldn't get her in 2020, I was left with the classic Cadillac (Trump) and the Ford focus (Beijing Joe).... And you damn well better believe I support the classic Cadillac, 8 days a week as opposed to a Fraudster Ford focus (FFF) πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜†

@El Kabong president Donald j Trump had 89 million followers on Twitter before he was deleted.

I don't think any of those people will be voting Republican next time around and certainly not voting Democrat!!!

89 million people IS ONE PETTY BIG PARTY!!!

I'm pretty sure you had to use a spellchecker to write the words "mentally weak."

Listen... I got no issues going tit for tat with a 50-some year old flip-flopper who one minute is cheering Trump on to "mow down toothless peasants at the border".... the next minute is hypocritically berating Trump for his handling of the COVID crisis.... and finally "flops" back to his derangement over the Massive Voter Fraud fiasco.

Although... I've you're going to engage me in a battle of wits... you'd better go get some at the local shop... 'cause for being grandfather aged, you're pretty damned moronic.

So I got no problem going head to head with you although I could be accused of abuse of the psychologically-challenged.

But get this straight, my pudgy, flip-flopping friend.......

Don't go putting your hand in the shark cage and go "running to tell on me" when you've gotten your hand bitten.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have too much trouble with the Forum Flip-Flopping Fat Fuck.

(Now... I know you're a poetry buff... but I'm thinking you just gotta appreciate the brilliant alliteration here.)

Biden is going to start a war in the Ukraine and Russia will be "involved" in some way, or fashion. By his second year or maybe even by the end of 2021 we will see this play out.

That's all well and good, but it's not their peaceful protests which are the issue it's the very real, very violent RIOTS which seem to follow their protests which we're comparing to the Capitol Building breach. And we don't have the right to riot, that's not a thing and should continue being not a thing.

How many people a year are "murdered by police"? How many are black? How many are black and shot by white officers? I was the very first on here to call what happened to Walter Scott murder. But I take a close look at circumstances in the build up to these shootings and some of them are justified. For example, Breona Taylor is a name we hear bandied about quite often, we've heard various falsehoods about that case: 1. it was the wrong address (false) 2. the police didn't knock (they did) 3. Breona was asleep and they shot her (false) etc etc....and it happens all the time. Cops aren't out there "hunting" people, are there bad cops, surely as there are bad pharmacists and bad lawyers and bad doctors, but how many people are out there in the world with malice in their hearts lying in wait to murder, harm, destroy? 100% of them? 80% of them? 10% of them? 2% of them? There are just about 700,000 law enforcement officers in America....700,000 covering 328.2 MILLION people.

It's not an easy job, I bet it's not a fun job, it's not exactly well paying (but for the pension), and it's not a perfect system they work in. BLM wants to not just "defund the police" they wish to ABOLISH the police. And if you're not curious about how Communists or other actors with very bad intentions get their foot in the door here's the way.

And yes being a person who keeps up on current events and has a relatively new/young family, there's plenty I worry about and I'm sure you related to that. I don't fear cops so much because I don't have much interaction with them, thankfully. However when I do interact with the police I know what not to do. I worry more about mob violence than I do police. Police have rules, mobs don't.

I'm not equating PROTESTS with the Capitol Building being breached, I'm equating RIOTS with it. And there were indeed riots, we had a full summer of them.

"None of them fearful of being racially profiled" .....so no Blacks or Hispanics were there? Or can people tell which Blacks & Hispanics support Trump?

Protests & riots, yes we agree.

Trump isn't "the savior" Trump is someone who stood his ground for people who have been represented for far too long by weak willed spineless sellouts. Trump showed if a politician, even one with the deck stacked against him, truly wanted to accomplish something he could get it done.

That revelation inspired people, it made people happy, but it also pissed people off because they woke up to how certain politicians use the system. They promise things every 4 years, they do nothing the follow 3, then it's back to "We super swear this time for real!" and it happens on both sides of the aisle.

A high ranking Democrat had a Chinese spy as her driver for 30 years, a high ranking Democrat had an affair with a Chinese spy, a high ranking Democrat had a Pakistani IT worker violate House security policies, Donald Trump's administration was ILLEGALLY surveilled, high ranking Republicans commit insider trading violations.....and nothing ever happens, nobody is held accountable.

It pisses people off and rightfully so!

The checks & balances are only as good as the people holding office are. I'd bet there's a Republican or two you don't trust. Well many people don't trust the entire lot of them because of how many people have not been held accountable for various crimes Hell Bill Clinton committed perjury in his Impeachment hearings and his punishment? Was it prison? Was it being removed from office? Was it a fine? No....he stayed in office and may have lost his law license or some shit....Let Trump lie to Congress and see what happens.
