No not really I’m sure my job will make it mandatory at some point but at this time I’m doing it voluntarily. What else does one do, sit around keep bitching about the virus or try to do something about it

    Thanks for completing today's check-in.

Depending on your answers, someone from CDC may call to check on you.

If you had symptoms or health problems following COVID-19 vaccination that concern you, please contact your healthcare provider. You can also report to the

Hey I don’t know what you guys are doing in the Uk but after your infection they use texts to send you a questionnaire on side effects. I’ve been getting them to this day. I didn’t copy all of it as some contained a link with my info but it allows you to report anything serious issues you had and request someone contact you.

I have booked my dad for his first vaccine next week and I may get one as well if they offer me one when I take him.

    Well what a coincidence friends!

WHO Information Notice for IVD Users 2020/05
    https://www.who.int/news/item/20-01-...-users-2020-05
This means that the probability that a person who has a positive result (SARS-CoV-2 detected) is truly infected with SARS-CoV-2 decreases as prevalence decreases, irrespective of the claimed specificity.

WHO advises laboratories around the world to reduce the cycle count in PCR Covid testing, which will result in fewer positives

And on the very day Biden is inaugurated.....MAGICAL!

Life is already getting better folks

Amazon offers Biden help with Covid-19 vaccine distribution
    https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...liveBlogHeader

and tweeted from the author Dylan Byers: + For those asking if similar offer was extended to President Trump... I asked. Amazon rep said company was in touch with CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and Dept. of Health and Human Services last month. But no mention of a direct letter to President Trump.

It's amazing how the left-wing lunatics like bill de Blasio and Mario Cuomo and Lori Lightfoot are all saying to OPEN UP ALL THE RESTAURANTS NOW BECAUSE THE CURE CANNOT BE WORSE THAN THE DISEASE.

Doesn't that phrase sound awfully familiar?

Did I hear your lockdown is being extended? Many years ago I read a book about viruses. It was written by an MD who specializes in such things but he wrote it for laymen. Gotta be honest it was a while ago I read it can’t remember a lot but it left me with a deep respect for what viruses can do and how they mastered the art of survival. It ran through a few scenarios of future pandemics, I don’t recall him writing what we are seeing today but some of his possibilities were very grim, I think he left out the whole economic and political impact as that wasn’t the point of the book but viruses have really shed all unnecessary shit as they evolved and are very efficient at doing what they do, as we see. The mutation stuff is pretty amazing. So I think by now, I’m over 10 past my first shot, I think my body should have developed antibodies by now. I’m like 10 days or so away from my second shot.

I think one aspect that may hold some people back is the fact behaviorally nothing changes even when you have both shots. You still gotta wear masks, social distance, maintain the stepped up hygiene. I think I read for air travel and cruises you still need to undergo a covid test. I’m not complaining I’m just explaining. That’s how it is. I mean there is a possibility I could be fired if the catch me without a mask at work. I haven’t seen that happen but I know they sent out an email about it. It’s just weird how it changes nothing in that regard. I actually asked our MD how a vaccinated person could spread the illness. Is it long on me or in my nose and shit and I’m immune to it but I can still breathe it out on others? He said “we just don’t know” yup, that’s the answer you get. Well that’s the answer I got anyway. Just weird.

The new variant may be more deadly than the first and the lockdown will continue until the least end of February. On the bright side the deaths are not going up and the vaccine programme is well underway.

The "Managers" husband has it. Found out this morning but only after one of the receps had to pull it out of the boss man with 101 questions. Apparently she went in yesterday and stayed in one of the surgery rooms for 7 friggin hours. Did not come out and wore a mask (first time) all day. I was off but needless to say staff feels there is deception and bullshit afoot. Word is she will be off a while..it's 'word is' because boss man won't be a professional adult and hold a short staff meeting to fill us in. You know..be honest and have your peoples backs. When asked by text if she was being tested she responded only if she shows symptoms and really does not want to get tested because "I don't want info in some data base" . That right there is a direct result of all the conspiracy boogeyman politicized BS this has become. Basically boss man has turned into a tin foil hat fuck face gambling with health of everyone in the building as well as hundreds of clients. We're minimal staff now and frankly burn out is very real. This is an individual with direct exposure refusing to be tested..a fuckin MANAGER! If she comes back without doing so, if that is allowed, I'm done. There's a chance she already knows she has it and has exposed the entire clinic. I cannot express enough how much I hate liars. They can fook right off.

That’s good, I mean death rates not going up. I guess we are getting a little more organized 1.3 million people were poked Monday I think they broke that Tuesday but I just read that in an email update. That’s another thing with the vaccine, I should say when I got my first poke these other variant weren’t big news so staying masked up and social distanced after the vaccine had nothing to do with these mutations. This was actually the suggested protocol from the vaccine makers I believe. Now the variants. Have the mutated to where these current vax are effective to protect you from them? The general consensus I get is yes they are. But then I heard Pfizer is Moderna isn’t. Then I hear about additional variants on top of the mutations already mentioned. Now virus mutates. They mutate when they enter your body. It’s what they do. But do we have a covid-20 now or just the usual mutations of the 19. I think an honest doctor would probably say “we don’t know” so yeah where are we going now. I guess we are gonna find out one way or another
