this one my step-grampa attended at Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City, NJ on Sept. 26, 1940. The Manassa Mauler is the referee. Amazing post-fight interviews as well - High Definition looks better than fights from the 80s and 90s

Great quality. They were do some serious winging of shots! I could envision Marciano getting under every single shot. Well not all of them but the majority!
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!
orlando canizales knocks down kelvin seabrooks with a right hand and gil clancy says when two fighters both try to throw right hands you cant get hit harder than that. he is right. knockouts like this one happen because one fighter was trying to land a punch and the other fighter was trying to create a mid air collision. if fighters stopped throwing punches and started thinking more in terms of collisions, and how to make one happen, they would land more punches.

Underrated Heavyweight Fight between 2 Tough SOBs:
Buster Mathis had defeated Frazier in the amateurs and Mathis really had Frazier's number here and really made him look rather ordinary: perhaps Foreman and Ali really watched this fight closely on how to fight Frazier
starts at 2:10 of the video
This is a testimony that bigger fighters doesn't mean better fighters. They are mixing it up, every punch is on display; jab, hooks, uppercuts, overhands, inside fighting, great bodywork by both, no clinching. Action is almost nonstop. No PEDs to enhance their stamina, their drive is natural.

fight starts at 16:30 of this video --- a real fucking barn burner --- for fight freaks you can watch some nice interviews during the first 16 minutes of the video:
any fight fans here? check out this rugged match between Renaldo and Tyrell - who do you have winning?
Nice selection as always.
I've seen Moorer/Cooper probabaly a dozen times! I think I saw highlights of Biggs vs Snipes, looking forward to watching this.
