who's your favourite fighter and why?

who are your fave fighters guys and why? fave at the moment or fave of all time. knock your self out.
i would say my favourite is a prime micheal gerard tyson. why? i think he was awesome and respected his no nonsence ring attitude of his early days. no robe, no frills, black shorts, no fireworks and he's gonna knock you out. awesome. KO power in either hand and speed and combos that was a breath of fresh air for the division at the time.
at the moment its tricky to name one fave fighter. but if i had to i would probably say the hitman. hattons style is exciting and his workrate and work ethic means he's always in an exciting fight. he's a warior and seems like a straight up bloke. he likes a drink and likes his footie so the average bloke can identify with him.

ive got some many favourite fighters but i liked larry holmes he reminded me of ali he had great jab great footwork great chin and was in some awesome battles and of course made 20 defences

Felix ' Tito ' Trinidad...
He was a good lookin chap!
He was undefeated until his 41st fight...
He was always smiling ....
He had a huge fan base and you could see how much the crowd meant to him!..
He had wicked power, was very accurate and a real good finisher once he got you in trouble..
he was in the right dividions at the right times for big fights, i.e welter had alot of growing and greats stars at the time he fought there...
He always fought the best...
I used to piss myself when papa trinidad slapped tito in the corner.. was funny as hell!!
all the while that tito was on top.. he could have been outboxed by many of his opponents and what with him bieng shaky on his feet during the early rounds you could tell he wasnt invincible.. but that just added to the excitement of watching him because in a way he was vulnerable..
tito is just the man!!

ATM.....PBF or ODLH i guess, i love that slick fast boxing pretty to watch boxing style.
All Time....A prime Tyson and SRL without doubt. Tyson becuase hey the man bort some interest back into boxing and was so fun to see him knock an opponents head off. SRL simply because he took on all the best out there, i dont care what anyone says he never ducked and he was just a very well rounded boxer.

Of all time...it's a tossup between Hagler and Duran. I'd probably lean toward Duran.

Right now...probably the short, fat little English guy Hatton. Aren't us "yanks" supposed to hate British fighters? Not me.

I guess Manfredo is my other favorite. Good guy, local guy, fun to watch.

Im a big Terrible fan, he is exciting and proud fighter, always comes to fight. I like Miguel Cotto too, I like watching good body puncher land viscious shot to the body.

i think the closest person that isnt retired or about to retire is winky and jermaine...
and they arent as exciting as the names above, theyr extremely good just not the same thou

hey fightinfireman if you liked the gatti ward trilogy mate you should check out the micky ward vs shea neary fight. that was a quality scrap aswell. body punching each other all over the ring.

Promoters over here like to create race wars, Cooney Vs Holmes was a marketing success (Great White Hope) for some reason they like to think that the Irish represent that great white hope (I have no clue why), they made a movie about it (Damon Wayans) I forgot the name but it was funny, they put Irish T-shirts on him with the flag even though he was not irish.
