With a friends departure this week I'm now the oldest and longest employed on the job. There's a 17 year age difference with the next oldest and a 12 minimum gap in years walking through that front door. Shat I'm on my 3rd generation of some clients pets. Being honest, it's a very weird feeling listening to a few stand around and talk about "do y'all remember way back when....." and it's all of just 6 years ago .

Oh, that way back when convo gets on my nerves! Every other year when I go back to Milwaukee (I still got contact with my old crew) They pull that shat all the time.

Now I see the stark difference.
20 or 30 years ago our topic was what we were going to do.
Today it's - remember when we used to.

Saw a comedian Mike Epps -calling out the age groups, where the
20something at ? They hollered, he hollered back. Yall got the best seats in the house, best car in the lot ...still living at home, ya'll aint shit!
30's (ya'll aint old, but ya mofos aint young either-better quit fuckin up!)
then 40's they hollered- he hollered back it's about ya'll bed time!!

You know you've gotten old, when the best in anything comes from your era exclusively.

Guys on my shift literally think Johnny Unitas and some dude named Otto Graham would shred today's Defense. They think 1930's defense would force Tom Brady to retire.
I'm thinking but Brady as a QB is way bigger, taller and probably just as strong.

They still think Larry Bird, Jerry West would make Lebron James look like a novice.

And Ernie Shavers punches way harder than Tyson, Lennox, Vitali, oh, he'd put them to sleep, Ok....didn't want to remind them- he was KO'd/stopped 7 times himself.

I was brilliant at playing Street Fighter, either Ryu or Ken, destroyed anyone that challenged me. Played against my son on the new game on Nintendo Switch and got lost in humiliating fashion.

    Not playing ever again.
