    Default Fastest 100 metres

That "best athlete" topic got me thinking. Which boxers do you think are the fastest at 100 metres? I think it's not as obvious as it might seem. Apparently Danny Williams could run it in 11 seconds. Frank Bruno was supposed to be quick too. And you wouldn't think either of them were good sprinters.

If i had to put money on it I reckon Roy Jones could probably have done it under 11 seconds in his prime. Pretty Boy must be fast. Shane Mosley too. Who's knows? Wlad Klischko could be surprisingly quick. Samuel Peter probably not.

James Toney, if you roll him down a hill.

Nah, but seriously... Roy Jones was an awesome athlete and I would probably put my money on him if there was to be a race.

surely they would've been faster on the way in then? perhaps clocking under 9 seconds.

yeah, Hatton looks like he could be quick, except when his weight goes up between fights.

suddenly remembered that on a US version of "superstar challenge", Holyfield beat Carl Lewis over 800 metres.

That's hilarious. I've never seen anyone get so excited about Burger King before. He sounds like he's going to eat at least 6 Whoppers and 9 fries. Did they pay him to do that?

over 100m the big muscular guys wouls probably win, like a prime tyson for instance. 100m is all explosive power so i think it would definately be a heavy weight between 200 ans 220 lbs would be the fastest. most pro sprinters are pretty bulked up, around 200 lbs
