No Maxine should get a pass. Trump called for a peaceful March but he got impeached over it. Obviously “peaceful” was a dog whistle to the white racist to attack. Maxines “confrontational” was a dog whistle for whatever supremacist to be peaceful. She already said she would take trump out, no one batted an eye. You guys gotta listen to the true intention not the words. Leave Maxine alone she is head of one of the most powerful committees and Nancy already said she isn’t going to do anything just let it go. You people don’t know how it works here in the US you got a lot to learn.

Trump mentioned fight, fighting and other forms of violent rhetoric in direct connection with Jamuary the sixth over two hundred and fifty times. He used the word "peaceful" exactly once, on the day of the attempted coup in the middle of a speech mentioning violent rhetoric dozens of times. The speeches immediately preceeding his were filled with violent rhetoric too:

The main thing here is Maxine isn’t bothered. I think we all agree Maxine did nothing wrong. #maxinespeaksformetoo it’s kinda hard explaining the media’s presentation and selecting outrage to people who don’t live in the US everyday of their lives and have to see the divisiveness stirred up by politicians and media but that’s not the case with Maxine. She did nothing wrong and should face no penalties (as if) we should just lock this thread #savemaxine she did nothing wrong

I already said she could be booted out of office tomorrow as far as I'm concerned. I think any public official who uses rhetoric that could incite violence in any kind of controversial situation should be thrown out og office by their peers. I'm fine with Maxine getting the boot. Are you fine with all the GOP senators and congresspeople who said far worse getting the boot as well?

A word of advice to anyone seeking to advance the cause of disproportionate police brutality on blacks: Drop the Ma'Khia Bryant case as quickly as you can.


Whenever I see pictures of "sweet, little 16-year old Ma'Khia" and "oh... how she'll never get to share her joyful personality with the world".... and I see BLM leading the way... I cringe, because it undermines what basically is a worthy cause.
