Denmarks captain deserves a medal for the way he handled that situation, straight over to open his airway up more, then got the players to circle him and block the cameras while he was getting CPR, then over to Eriksens wife to console her.
Horrible to watch that and i honestly thought he wouldn't make it, he did die on that pitch and they managed to bring him back.
I'm a huge Spurs fan so it was double hard to see him like that.

England won! Sterling played well and Phillips was a dynamo in midfield. Good overall performance.

England looked solid and Phillips looked quality, we look like we've hit form at the perfect time, I was having serious doubts after our last 2 friendly games but with the City and Chelsea boys back it's looking good.
Anyone else think the style we play doesn't suit Kane?
He's way too deep to be effective but I'm 100% sure he was still seriously rattled by what he saw last night with his good mate Erikson.
There's goals from everywhere in this England team and with a solid backbone we could go deep into this 😎

I was messaging friend groups after first half saying there was an unconfirmed rumour that Kane was on the pitch.

He didn't touch the ball first half hour I don't think and no didnt seem to suit him at all and there was no real chances created goal and Foden aside.

But class is permanent and I'm sure he'll come good. Come top and I think we stay at Wembley. First game win in ten as said so we'll take the positive.

Can only get better. At 49 I will not be getting carried away...

It was a decent performance. The first twenty minutes we played some fantastic football and for large parts of the first half we made Croatia look like a very average team who could not get out of their half. It's always worrying when you dominate like that and don't score or at least have plenty of shots on goal though.

Lovely goal when it came and we looked much more focused on creating chances rather than keeping possession and making pretty triangles second half.

96 really was a special year and playing at home (all be it with reduced numbers at a Wembley that has none of the magic of the old one) will make a difference.
