A draw isn't too bad. When I heard split decision I thought definitely Charlo gets it. Steve Weisfeld was trying to get Charlo level on his card and gave him the tenth round ten eight and still couldn't do it.

American fighters owe so much to the US economy. You've got to wonder how well Charlo would have done in some minging bear pit sports hall in Buenos Aires.

Charlo should have won the fight he had all the physical advantages. He fought a timid fight overall and was not busy enough to have got the decision.

Charlo hurt Castano in the 2nd round with a left hook that wobbled him but Castano came back to win the subsequent rounds even hurting Charlo with 2 big left hooks in the 3rd round. By round 9 Castano was winning the fight by being the busier and aggressive fighter.

Charlo turned the fight in the 10th with huge left hooks that battered Castano and could have been a 10-8 round because he was that dominate. Charlo won the last 2 rounds to make it a draw for me 6-6.

The judge that gave it 9-3 needs to leave boxing.

Good contest and there should be a rematch.
