But this Triller trash is indeed another level digging up the long buried shot to bits bones of legends to boost themselves. More troubling is that the FAC approved a Holyfield and assuming Bowe as sanction fight fit. Anyone read co founder Ryan Kavanaughs defense of the last shit show dumpster fire? It reads like a kid reading a comic book describing how and the controversy in the stoppage. And the hyena flouts about having Holyfield tied into a multi fight deal and bringing him out again. I know promoters are crap. They've more blood on their hands than a Badou Jack cornerman but these events are straight up grave robbing. Again the bigger more criminal one in the room is any State athletic commission who sanctions it and that is at the crux of one of boxings longest lasting black eyes.

What is amazing me is the number of (relatively) quality fights that were on PPV over the past ten or so years that were total commercial disasters and now you have youtubers and boxing fossils making more money than the current top boxing PPV attraction Alvarez (although I'm deeply sceptical of the numbers being claimed for these bullshit fights.)

It goes to show that the saying that boxing is fifty percent sport and fifty percent showbusiness isn't entirely accurate. They got the percentages wrong.

Sounds like it's been axed thankfully. But I don't trust anything triller is involved in. All this chatter about these cash grabs while their only huge legit fight..Teos first defense..is being cancelled, moved, postponed yet again. They actually put it on a Monday night vs NFL Monday Night football Stateside . Clueless. Teofimo is wasting valuable momentum and cred.

as of today- The HW title fight did NOT make headlines. For some reason even ESPN thinks more of MMA than boxing. Even stating they saw a great MMA FOTY.

Below that is college football (American football that is!)
Below that is the Ryder Cup.

a female MMA fight

and then Usyk winning the HW title of the world.
I think that is a disgrace.
or I am too stuborn to admit boxing may have died to many- except us boxing fans...as we wait around for that one fight to say we're back!!!

This fight should have made front page for ESPN, maybe they too would rather talk Jake Paul, backyard brawls and celebrity has beens....

Yeh noticed that too on fight night. Waited for Sports Center to air and they didn't mention anything until roughly 18 minutes in. And only after doing live recaps of that nights ufc ppv card. Figure they've bowed to that mega deal and contractual rights to anything ufc a couple years ago. Thing is Usyk v Joshua got so little buzz Stateside but I guess some things never change as no Americans were involved . Shame for espn really. Gone are the days of watching every single FNF or weekly Top Rank cards before that. Majority of their stuff is off standard cable and now tucked behind App pay walls.
