I’m sorry but that was pathetic from Joshua. Ok Usyk is quality no doubting that. But there appeared to be no real plan. No urgency to change. No urgency full stop. The jab and right cross was timid. He needed to fight. He tried to box. With a better boxer. Just ducking poor all around. Piss poor instruction from the corner too. 10th round. Keep it tight. What the fuck are you people watching!?!

Nothing but respect for Usyk. He boxed brilliantly. That’s easier done when the bloke opposite you does next to fuck all.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

    Good afternoon gentleman.

Thought I'd pop in to say how proud I am of Usyk. I thought the injuries & wear and tear might have been taking a toll on Usyk, as well as the added weight.

I never doubted his heart & skill tho.

That was a clear unanimous decision. I had it 8-4 Usyk.

    Congratulations champ.

    Keep happy and healthy everyone.

I also had it 116-112 for usyk, great performance by him, questionable tactics from Joshua trying to outbox him :S but usyk fought great and took the power well.. I did think it wasn't a total whipping and Joshua did land some good stuff on usyk too but every time it looked like the tables were about to turn usyk found more energy and came back great. Good plan from him starting quickly too I was skeptical he could last the whole fight like that but he did great...

That was the biggest head scratcher. AJ showed no urgency or want to actually impose all that 'size' while risking return fire and think it speaks to that whole mental make up thing. Again, dude it just wound too tight. Have to think Fury runs a bigger chance of tripping himself up now too. Usyk is at the wheel now, fully earned brilliantly executed.

Tyson Fury view a day before the Usyk fight.

No way that I see Usyk wanting Fury, perhaps Usyk vs Whyte?

Thx fellas. Even the AJ fans are impartial. Can't wait to see this.

I'm 1/2 way though watching it and thinking the very same thing.

Fun is that my version- commentary is about 10 seconds off from the video! I agree with Roy Jones commentary so far. Usyk feints causing AJ to do feints but it aint working.

Plus I have never seen Usyk use so much head movement. Usually his D is via that high left guard and using lateral movement.

Very skilled match. Unfortunately ESPN doesn't think so. They got MMA headlined. And undeneath the women's MMA fight is the HW boxing championship

Just watched the 12th round. I feel a bit embarrassed for AJ. So many things done wrong. Or not well enough?
Not sure I can say exposed because of the guy he fought had a ring IQ high enough to show what Aj lacks in.
This was no easy feat. Though at times it looked to be an effort that did NOT require Usyk to give 100% I say he looked to be giving 95%ish!! LOL!

Post fight Olek did say there were times where AJ pushed him (I agree) his swollen eyes proved it- yet he made it known -IF NEEDED Olek had one more gear. Another level. But he didnt even have to rise from the canvass let alone find that final gear.

AJ pushed his jab out all night. I saw no authority in his jab. NONE.
He kept feinting -after he saw Usyk do it, what for?

After 8 or 9 rounds I would have expected for AJ to adjust to that str8 left, but he just kept bringing his left hand up to his face as if that was where Olek was landing. He was landing that left str8 down the pipe.

That 12th round to see Usyk coming forward, taking the fight to Aj and AJ decided to (allow) himself to get backed up to the ropes, that didn't look too good.

So @Master , you must feel pretty stupid at the way you dismissed and disrespected Usyk. It’s one thing backing your man, but you shouldn’t let it cloud your judgement. Your RBR and scorecard last night were a million miles from anybody else’s both on this forum and right across the net and all the Broadcasters!
I watched it today and AJ wasn’t awful, but Usyk was just way way too slick and skilled .
And I have to say IMO barring somebody landing with a haymaker from nowhere, nobody is gonna touch him.
And people may disagree, but I still think it’s a 50/50 shot between him and Fury over who’s next best in the division.
Wilder? His only chance is if Fury fucks up . And AJ Still knocks him out. Usyk absolutely clowns him.
Whyte? His only chance against Usyk would be a clubbing overhead right landing from the other end of the World. Could happen, but unlikely.
Joe Joyce? Fucking hell, somebody even suggested he leap frogs AJ. No chance. As for Usyk, he Got beaten out of sight by Usyk in the WSB, and the same would happen now. (I actually think Joyce was better then, he was a bit lighter and more mobile, less robotic.)
    Usyk is here to stay.
