I don’t see Wilder ever coming back or being close to his old form- the fight was that brutal to both his body and psyche.
Only in this crazy age would there now be a 3rd fight being set for next week after that dominant performance.

Wilder would never have been world champion in any other era. There is no quality of depth in the division today.
Did the rewatch this week leading in and forgot just how early Fury set the table and was on top of Wilder. I have my problems with Fury but credit where do that was one of the most focused and on mission heavyweight starts I've seen. Watched an interview today where Wilder sounds half asleep and freely dismisses a fighters 'skill' and again rails that power rules all. Either he's trying a poker face bluff with the plan etc or he's still concussed and has learned nothing.

Watched it only from the legs down this time. Foot placement and repeatedly how Wilder gets crossed and has to punch over himself and then stumbles off like a totem pole. Honestly should we again get the same driven tunnel vision Fury I'd be shocked if he makes it to middle rounds.
