Well... the Ruiz loss likely damaged him more than he lets on. He probably saw Ruiz pre-fight and said "How in the world would I lose to that?"

It would be better if there was video transcript software that could produce a transcript with a couple of clicks. You can read an hour long interview or speech in a couple of minutes that way.

After reading the thread I had to watch the last few minutes. He came over like an immature teenager. Not impressive to say the least.

AJ is a likable guy and great athlete, I just don’t think he is a fighter. Fury is a fighter- he has that mentality. Usyk is also, in his own way, as is Wilder. I don’t see AJ beating any of those three, unless he lands that perfect punch (that is almost any fight though). I would be most interested in watching him fight Wilder at this point.

Exactly! I'd dare say AJ is almost "too gentlemanly" for boxing. But yes... that fighter mentality has never actually stood out in Joshua.

    Agree with this.

I think Ruiz 1 changed Joshua & I can't see him reverting to type, because that defeat showed him that he doesn't quite have the stamina nor the durability to be super aggressive against the elites.

He might try different tactics against Usyk in the rematch, but Oleksandr will also make the necessary adjustments & probably prevail again.

He definitely does not beat Fury, but like you say, a Wilder fight would be intriguing.

They should have fought in about 2018 for all the belts & it would have been even better then, but it's still a good fight.

I'd be inclined to go with Wilder as he seems to have more dog in him, but Joshua also has balls & heart, but ultimately I think his stamina issues would let him down.

It seems like the higher your stock rises, the lower you go down in people’s opinions when it goes pear shaped.
I reckon Joshua could easily revert to beast mode against Wilder. Wilder might have a big haymaker, but there’s not a great chance of it landing.
I reckon Joshua knocks Wilder out. But then again, I don’t rate Wilder at all.
