When a fighter is done he is done. Hell Lou Duva was standing on the apron which could be construed as throwing in the towel. Taylor was not responding , and what if there was 45 seconds left in the fight and Steel let it go on ? Taylor could have been killed in there. . What everyone needs to do is watch the last round forget about the time and ask themselves, can Taylor take anymore punishment and fight back ? that’s what your looking at . 10 seconds or 1:23 seconds that’s irrelevant,

Nowhere in the referee manual does it say take Time as a consideration when stopping a fight. A referees only concern is the fighters wellbeing
