Look at these guys from the back they look a division apart easily. Heated up in 2nd Commey on the body, Loma winding the clock as it goes with counters. Commey doesn't wear it well when hit high

Here come the happy feet from Loma landing 3 pieces at the bell
Loma definitely giving Commey his best chance for success mixing in close like this but winning these exchanges.
Quality really dipping in round 5. Loma’s mouth open. Did bulking up effect him?
Still mouth wide open through entire break
Is his jaw broken or is he just tired?
How is he so gassed in such a slow fight? He’s barely ever closing his mouth
Nice second half of the round 6 for Commey
Commey wobbling up from KD looks spent
Loma looks small at the weight, these guys look massive in comparison. Loma is too skilled for them and played with Commey in the end. Very brave of his corner to allow Commey to take that beating.
Loma should take on Tank whilst he waits for Kambosos v Haney.
Loma is brilliant to watch and makes me reminisce about watching Sweet Pea at his best.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I agree that Loma is brilliant and I can’t help but think/compare him to other brilliant southpaws (Hagler, Sweet Pea, Manny….etc.). It’s like someone took the footwork and activity of Manny, mashed it together with the defensive ability of Sweet Pea, and added the footwork of a pro dancer. Loma is welll above his best weight and he beats these good fighters into submission because the gap in skill is so large.
I love the reference to Pea as he is one of my favorite fighters ever and was another guy who fought well above his weight because he was so good/much better than everyone else. Pea was unique because he was much more stationary and able to break opponents down behind a constant jab and sustained body attack, where Loma uses his legs to maneuver around opponents and create angles to attack. Both styles are effective and unique to those two, there was a period when fighters would try to adopt Pea’s deep knee bend on the inside but no one was as effective with it. Loma’s angles and footwork is similar- no one will be as effective as he is (they won’t be able to combine the movement, defense, and offense like he does).
As I said before, I love Loma’s desire to be great by fighting the best and cleaning divisions out. I still feel like his loss vs Teo was more about what he didn’t do than what Teo did, but admit I’m biased and my have clouded judgement. Either way, the next couple of years will be great and we all need to appreciate this guy while he is around (along with Bud, Canelo, Usyk, and Fury).
