I think its an absolutely brilliant idea in theory, after all boxing is one of the only major sports where you have no idea how well you are doing during a fight.

In response to the concern about it affecting trainer tactics, well surely that has to be good right? I mean what use would an NFL or soccer coach be with 15 minutes to go if he didn't know if his side were winning or losing?

The only problem I see with this though is hometown judging might be even worse.

If after every round (or 4 rounds) the scores were made known to the crowd, imagine the boos and hostility that could be unleashed on judges that voted against the crowd favourite?

But I think it is an interesting idea and one worth being tested.
