    I miss the daily boxing conversations. And I know you know what this means...you get to talk to Frankie Duarte and Rene Arredondo. I grew up watching them fight and all of a sudden I am talking to them on equal terms. I almost fainted.

    Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. That is a fantastic article ( even Arum is linking to it on Twitter, asking people to read it) and echoes the stories of a lot of the 'characters' or 'rough diamonds' that i have met over here, in and around boxing over the years. Being able to spot talent, having the belief and faith that you can help them make it is a crucial part of boxing at all levels and without guys like Lou and yourself in their corner there would be no more future fighters to inspire the next generation.
