That was absolute bullshit as a "scientific" study. For a start it was pretty clear that the power generated went up with each persons size. The kung Fu guy was clearly the smallest and the boxer was slightly bigger than the Taikwondo guy. Also martial arts generally favour straight punching at a specific area of the face as demonstrated by the kung-fu guy whereas boxing has a much wider variety of hooks a "swinging" punches as you can see with the boxer (the slight overhand right action). Therefore the boxer has momentum and thus will probably strike with more force at contact. The martial artists punches (pther than the taikwondo guy) were clearly much shorter and sharper. Also for all we know one could be a world champ another a county champion of some obscure country with little fighting tradition.
Sorry but this kind of program dressed up as fact to big up boxing pisses me off. I mean boxers are clearly going to generate more force as thats the only part of their body which they strike with and thus train on. We dont need amauterish programs like this. In my opinion all stlyes have their strenghts and weakness'
Sorry just the sheer unscietific approach to the whole thing really pissed me off
