Michael Moorer Coming out of Retirement...Again

He is scheduled to fight in December. Anyone else wish that he'd continue being a trainer and call it a day as a fighter. I think he has a lot of knoledge to offer young fighters. He is very ring smart. I wonder how Teddy Atlas feels about this.

I think if he can get REAL serious, and gets back in the shape he was in 10 years ago he might have a shot.

i do agree though if moorer gets in good shape he might get to a title bout, and bye good shape i mean under 230. when he was 247 or 251 he was very sluggish, when he was lighter he could box better. he has a weak chin but with his power he has a shot if he could move around a little better at a lighter weight.

I totally agree, 230lbs would be max. He looked like a fat slob when he lost to Castillo at 250lbs+. I would love to see him back under 230 and be at prime fighting weight, but I'm not sure he has it in him to get there.

i actually like moorer and would like to see him serious about one last shot. i just couldnt imagine him beating any of the champs right now though. maybe he would have a small chance against maskaev but again only after he looked good against some stepping stones first and in good shape.
