Here is part of the latest update from the WBC convention. Personally I would love this fight to happen! It almost happened last year, but Pavlik's people decided against it. Maybe with a title emlininator on the line they will take the fight.

Sounds good to me
I'd favor Miranda cause I don't really know what to expect from Pavlik cause he hasn't stepped up, but its about time he did. And he does have a big right hand, and Miranda is a bit open to the punch. I'd favor Miranda but I could see him getting rocked in this one.

Honestly...I would have liked to have seen Pavlik on atleast the 4th or 5th step of the ladder about 4 or 5 fights ago.
I always wanted to see how he faired against someone like Joppy or Echols. I think that one of the war horse's would have been a great barometer for the man. He's good...but he just leaves a bit too much of himself hanging out there after he connects.
Am I the only one that notices or thinks that? Say it aint so.

That was before Miranda stepped up and KO'd Eastman, than went into Abraham's backyard and tore his jaw to pieces. Pavlik hasn't done anything to improve in the past 1+ years. Most see Miranda as being able to hang with anyone. Pavlik has yet to prove much at all.
