That’s one area where boxing is really losing out. And frankly, competitive fights. UFC makes a lot of obvious fights, the last 3 or 4 I barely ever get wrong. But the mid cards are competitive. Where as the mid card in boxing you know who is there to build their name and experience and who is there to lose.

I think boxing needs to really start looking about how it can maintain its position long term. It has been relegated to a fringe sport already. The next step down is a precarious one
It's interesting how they mesh the ufc and boxing. Do you have the espn+ app? Think I pay about 6 bucks a month. I have the ufc card on regular tv and espn+ so able to catch all prelims for Teo card. But rule #1 for me still..boxing first . If no card then whatever mma. Both however are getting ridiculous with ppv increases.
