He'll get a deal. He'll have to plead guilty in return for no trial/jail time. The question is what other stuff he'll have to agree to. Maybe they can make him agree never to seek office again. Although that looks nakedly political. Maybe permanently ban him from holding a security clearance but he could still get elected and scrap the ruling. He'll get a deal though and tell his fans he had to take it because he'd have no chance in front of a (black) DC jury.
Although it depends what the investigation dredges up. If it comes up with something significant then all bets are off. Look at this:
“Last year, a top-secret memo sent to every C.I.A. station around the world, warned about troubling numbers of informants being captured or killed”

and
The U.S. intelligence community will evaluate the potential national security risks stemming from former President Donald Trump’s possession of top-secret documents at his Mar-a-Lago residence, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines told top lawmakers.
In a letter obtained by POLITICO and dated Friday, Haines told House Oversight Committee Chair Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) and House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) that her office will lead an “assessment of the potential risk to national security that would result from the disclosure of the relevant documents.”
“The Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) are working together to facilitate a classification review of relevant materials, including those recovered during the search,” Haines wrote, adding that the review will be conducted in a way that “does not unduly interfere with DOJ’s ongoing criminal investigation.”

So anything could happen. According to the affidavit they just released “the FBI has not yet identified all potential criminal confederates nor located all evidence related to its investigation”. But if the investigation doesn't turn up anything damning the most likely outcome is some kind of deal and whether they can work out some way of banning Trump from running again via the deal that doesn't look too political.
Then there's this. A Russian spy hanging out at Trump's Florida restaurant last year:
Inventing Anna: The tale of a fake heiress, Mar-a-Lago and an FBI investigation (post-gazette.com)
This story came out yesterday and nobody noticed. It's a good job Trump wasn't keeping all these top secret documents in emails on a private server or stories like this would be making headlines for months to come.
