Why has/did he not fight Andrade and Charlo?
Money which is what prize fighters do.
Canelo brings more money than becoming undisputed champion again.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
He's looking to cash out. The writing is on the wall. He didn't adapt in the Canelo Rematch. Derevyanchenko gave him hell. Hes trying to fight a less hard nosed style now. Abel Sanchez was asking him to do something he couldn't do in the second fight. Walk canelo down through his punches and GGG knew his body couldn't take that kind of abuse anymore. So he pairs up with Banks to try and find a smarter and slicker way to deliver his power without eating as many shots in the process. (I don't see the allure with banks nor have I noticed the difference except the level of competition). Could he have beaten Charlo and Andrade, maybe/ probably... but he's not about walking down youngsters while they tee off on him unless hes getting set for life from it. Also who would carry the promotion. GGG has tried to add more tooth to his interviews but it rings false ....and either of those guys is boring as hell or implosive at best, when you stick a mic in their face. He deserves to make money finally considering a he traveled the world fighting people in their backyard for peanuts a good part of his early career. Still, paying customers want to see the beast, not the domesticated animal that has recently become aware of his mortality. Barring the KO everyone wants to see, he will find himself the butt of boxing cosmic joke. Fight hard to make money, burn out just before or just after you do.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

Yeah he cannot let his 40 year old body get walloped by a 32 year old at this point. And even b4 all those fighting-for-peanuts fights he had, he was even before that fighting street fights in Karagandy as a kid a couple times a week for years. Who knows all the wear and tear, I always thought he looked like an "old" fighter even when he was young.
The 3rd fight has been on the back burner ever since they announced the decision of the 2nd really. In fairness Golovkin has done much more of the standing by just kicking rocks and Eddie gets what Eddie wants. In that time Andrade and Charlo have literally faced one borderline top contender and it was one that Golovkin already beat and Andrade has pretty much proven he was-is not serious about facing tough challenges.
