Boris cut short his holiday, where he has been earning hundreds of thousands of pounds doing talks on the US circuit, to try and see if he could become Prime minister. Hoping people will forget he was kicked out 6 weeks ago for lies and incompetence.

Finding out Sunak will not roll over and allow Boris to become leader he leaves with his tail between his legs again with no ounce of remorse or shame.

Watching the Tories in government self-destructing with this pantomime should tell the electorate that the only people they serve is themselves.

See what gets me about all this business is that the tories are calling Liz Truss a sack of shit and hounding her out after 44 days.
But 6 weeks ago, who was it that chose her as a CLEAR winner of the leadership contest and decided that she was the way forward? Answer , the same people that chose Boris after hounding Theresa May out of power.
Not the people, but The Conservative Party! They chose our Prime Minister yet again, and now they will choose a guy who they CLEARLY didn’t think was the man for the job 6 weeks ago.
These saps have proved that they can’t pick their noses, so surely now, it is up to the public to decide who leads and runs the country!

Like I pointed out in the Trump thread the whole tax cut/deregulation stuff has an unbroken forty year record of failure. Yet a bunch of ideologues in Britain decided it was the answer. It won't stop them trying here though.

    This explains it a little:

This is interesting. We're not going to see an IMF bailout but it's going to become increasingly obvious that Britain should rejoin the single market at least. It could be a massive votewinner for Labour in time for the next election.
