The Pentagon finally admitted that the missile “strike” into Poland by Russia was actually a stray Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile, but still insisted that the incident was “ultimately the fault of Russia.”

Bit different. Then again, I don't get soft chub for Putin. If only we weren't recognizing a conflict with Russia would quickly escalate into Global nuclear exchange and were instead dismissing them as a 'third rate piss ant country who we could defeat with arms tied behind our back' like the Johnson administration did North Vietnam. Apparently, Ukraine has taken that last part up and it's panning out. Putin isn't meeting flagged US warships just 12 miles off its coast who had 2 days prior fired upon craft and North Vietnam installations or had US aircraft ordered into its airspace...but he is purposely mobilizing across borders and targeting civilians as an invading force.

First time he's put a foot wrong since this thing started. I wonder why he fucked up like this though. The Ukrainians, the US and the Poles and probably other NATO members in the region have huge radar systems that follow every kind of offensive and defensive missile fired in the entire region in real time. At least those three countries knew it was a Ukrainian missile (actually a Russian missile fired from a Ukrainian-owned Russian air defence system, the western stuff works and the Russian stuff is garbage) and he comes out with this statement everybody knows is bullshit and Zelensky knows they know. So why come out with it?
