At least it is not PPV by BT sports which is positive.

Easy to forget Beterbiev will turn 38 one week before this kicks off. Not out of the realm of possibility that Yarde strikes it rich with fast-power out of the gate but can see Beterbiev just too crafty and consistent shortly after. Think a scrapy Yarde will unravel gradually and the water gets too deep.

I don't know Yarde was outlasted by an ally old Kovalev, I think beterbiev will be fine here. He's always good to take a whack when he's on the attack though..but I think easy beterbiev win.
I was thinking exactly the same about Beterbiev and his age. Looks like “Lions in the camp” just waits for his prey to get old before he pounces. It could happen, but IMO he would have to wait a lot fucking longer. I don’t even know why he deserves the shot.
Sadly as each day goes by , it put more question marks on a Bivol/Beterbiev fight. Even if it happens, you’ve got the “grow old in the ring” schtick.

The Lion mantra has changed to Beast from the East from Yarde.
It would make sense for Yarde to step aside and allow the unification and pick up one of the belts afterwards but credit to him for taking the shot. Eddie's fighters are standing back and taking the safer route.

"I never back down from a challenge, and Anthony Yarde is a top contender who asked for this fight," said Beterbiev,
"I look forward to fighting in London for the first time since the Olympics.
"Yarde called me 'slow' after my fight with Joe Smith Jr, but slow and steady wins the race and on January 28, I will win in London."
"January 28 will be my night," said Yarde. "My destiny playing out in my home city, and this is what I have been longing for throughout my professional career, which started at Wembley.
"I won't make any big predictions for this fight against a strong unified champion in Artur Beterbiev, but what I will say is that I will leave nothing to chance, and I am at my best when I fight fire with fire."
