Mr Free Speech is now blocking hundreds of anti government protest accounts in India, a country where he is trying to be allowed to build another giant Tesla factory.

I feel sure he would have thought through the ramifications of owning Twitter and also building cars/being allowed access to markets in authoritarian/nationalist countries.

Maybe he just thought that he could get away with being a tool for these kind of governments abroad and that at home he could bullshit and bluster about free speech while throwing out a load of culture war bullshit to mask the corrupt deals with foreign dictatorships. It works for the GOP and their upward redistribution after all.

Which leads me to the latest load of bullshit. According to Musk he was going to release evidence of massive collusion between pre-Musk twitter and the Democratic party to throw the 2020 election to the Democrats. It turns out the massive collusion was the Democrats asking twitter to take down five separate posts of pictures of Hunter Biden's genitals. The DNC were given a contact at twitter to allow them to quickly have stuff they wanted taken down reviewed by the twitter moderation team. But so were the GOP:

We don't know what the GOP asked to have taken down but I'm sure we'll find out, they're surely not going to be so one sided about this, I have faith in Elon. Although he does seem a little bit confused about the First Amendment:

The First Amendment protects your speech being infringed by the government, not a political party campaign. Maybe he means that the Trump campaign were an extension of the then government and them asking to take down whatever it is twitter took down for them is a violation of the 1st A. But the headline here was Hunter Biden and how this was some kind of huge scandal. And there's also this from the guy charged with publishing this huge bombshell on twitter:

So it does look like Elon is bullshitting away here. It'll be interesting to see what else come out.
