The World Cup has historically been a boon for Twitter, bringing in record traffic and an influx of advertising dollars. But this time, when the global soccer tournament started on Nov. 20, Twitter’s U.S. ad revenue was running at 80 percent below internal expectations for that week, three people with knowledge of the figures said.

Ninety percent of their revenue comes from advertising and they're eighty percent down.

Elon is committed to free speech so so they've got that going for them:

I asked Elon if his commitment to free speech, which he says is crucial to the future of humanity, extends to Chinese & Iranian protestors (earlier he ducked a question about Twitter supporting them). Elon scolded me & the right-wing hosts jumped in & kicked me out. Free speech!

I'm becoming convinced that top boxing stars always chirping and fighting on Twatter is the reason they're not fighting in the ring. Constant 24/7 exposure to anything is bad, it's like a substandard-satisfaction and substitution for fans who feel some odd connection. Notice how much less often fans debate/ argue who will win, how top styles collide, what top fighters game plan will give the upper hand...now, it's just followers beefing over why fighter A and fighter B are not fighting in the first place. Can you imagine Hearns and Hagler midnight tweeting about each other's family members . Running random on this it's been a day.

this is what all the nonsense has been distracting you from
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

That is sick what Musk is trying to do.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
