Saw that was during 72' tour to kick off "Exile on Main St.". Which was actually a pretty funky good album imo. Really want to know if Keith got any sort of promo fee off the Coke patch though

Showed what a bunch of clueless bullshitters music critics are. They all said it was garbage because they'd decided the Stones were passé. Then the public reaction to the album was so overwhelming that they all issued statements saying you know, on further listening it's actually quite good. I think Jann Wenner forced his guy to go first and the rest of them followed. Now it's acknowledged as a masterpiece and the greatest Stones album.

They slagged Zeppelin and later AC/DC for years as being basic rock and roll that was nothing new and then years later lost their shit over punk music which is the most basic three chord shit played by people who couldn't play their instruments.
