Former Undisputed 4 belt Prediction champion. Still P4P and People’s Champion.
Just checked and I've not been to a fight for 13 years. Doubt I will again. Would never do a stadium fight.
So I've kind of retired
Posted this originally in the football thread somehow....
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
With all due respect if you think Usyck was a 'surprise' win, let me know if you ever get a job with a bookmaker. Tight verdict, even controversial was the game plan, with the draw in reserve. Usyck cleverly (some would say routinely) made it impossible for the fix to come in by doing a Buster Mathis on slow-witted Joshua, TWICE. Happy Christmas.

If he's the man, I guess that means he's good. I don't think anybody can beat Fury. Even the cream of the crop heavyweights from the 1970s and '80s and '90s would have a hard time. Guys like razor ruddick could never do it. Tommy Morrison would get completely out classed. Pink lon Thomas, Tim Witherspoon, Mike Weaver, fury would just toy with these guys.
Only Lennox Lewis and Riddick bowe and a prime Larry Holmes, a prime George Foreman would really stand the chance of beating fury
Now do another pumpkin ale review. It was epic and I wish we could see it again. Even dark lord loved that review and mentioned it a few months back. It's the season
He wouldn't listen to me. I told him that Joshua would lose. I told everybody that Joshua wasn't much of a fighter about five or six years ago. I told everybody that Tyson fury was the man. Only Ross and I were right about Tyson fury. Everybody else just said he wouldn't be much. So I correctly predicted the career trajectories of Anthony Joshua and Tyson fury.
It's true that Master was a little bit too high about Anthony Joshua. Beans also got to wrapped up in the politics of it all when it came to Anthony Joshua and overestimated his value as a boxer
In answer to my original question to Master...... My own answers
When was the last time you saw a surprise outcome in a HW title fight (don't say Usyck Joshua)
Tyson Douglas, although we are led to beleive cocaine was responsible
When was the last time you saw a HW title fight that could have gone either way, and was followed by an obligatory rematch
Tyson Holyfield
When was the last time you placed your bum on an expensive seat for a HW title fight
Haye Klitschko in Hamburg, it was worth the flight and hotel money to be treated well by the promoter as a customer. The fight with Valuev for an alphabet title was even better organised in Nurnburg, I beleive Saurland was the promoter but could be wrong.
Since Christmas is coming up its time for me to stop sitting on the fence and say what I really think, as an ageing boxing fan who has supported every British HW champ in their quests for world titles controlled by the boxing mafia.
Both Wilder and Joshua are media/promoter created manufactured fighters who couldn't box kippers, they were brought through on a diet of also ran opponents until they could get into a ring with the main promoters men, only to then join an exclusive pantomime.
Fighters like Fury and Usyck are born, not made by some over the hill trainer on a percentage. Fury is clever enough to commercially exploit his situation as a genuine world No. 1, Usyck is just so amazed at how bloody useless the HW 'opposition' is and can't beleive his luck, he would benefit from Fury's advisers to maximise his income.
There, I've said it
Merry Christmas and a happy new year
