Like I said before I dont condone his out of ring behavior..Whether these accusaions are true or not the fact is at 28 his normal everyday functional life was taken away from him, he never had a chance or the opportunity to turn his life around and be known for something positive ..

Yes I feel a sense of sympathy for him, More so for his children who have to see there father in that state and cant share with them a normal parent children relationship...

I don't eat any meat, not that it makes a difference or that theres anything wrong with eating meat.. All those things you say are just little BS offences, ok, everyone does those little things. I mean think a Gerald was really a sick person from everything Ive heard.. And yeah ok maybe theres some remote chance he could have turned his life around, but it rarely happens like that. I find it hilariouis how you seem to think he would have gone on to raise some well mannered children with a good family environment.. Gman supposedly always had many girlfriends on the side, and would apparently beat them up when he felt like it.. He also went to animal shelters picked up stray dogs and cats, brought them home, tied them up and had his pitbull terriers(which he bred) attack them. Yeah what a shame he's a vegetable.

Again I think you would have to have a sick and perverse out look to think someone deserves to be a vegatable for ALLEDGED things...And that his children wouldnt have had a chance at a normal life.. Do we need to mention how Don King(Allegedly) Murdered 2 people when he was younger...Well S*** he is the one of the Richest and powerful players not to mention he is pretty old and has lived quite a full life up to now....again to many Flaws in the Karma way of thinking...IMO

The things that GMan is 'alleged' to have done may not be nice but you can't judge a person based on heresy.

It also seems to me that in some people's eyes cruelty to animals is the worst crime of all which is insane. I've never heard anybody hate on Diego Coralles yet he served jail time for beating up his wife, Tyson was convicted of rape, Hop jailed for armed robbery, Rahman and Mayorga both used to run with street gangs. Clifford Ettiene is indside for attempted murder of a police officer, Bowe beat up his wife.

Outside boxing, the actor Tom Sizemore was in prison recently for battering his wife and other offenses, the world respected director Roman Polanski has been on the run from American justice for 30 years for raping a 13 year old girl, the singer James Brown has served many years in prison for various offenses including assualt and battery, carrying a gun, assualting a police officer and more. Pamela Andersons ex Tommy Lee served time for beating her up in front of her kids.

Don King beat a man to death and I'm sure there are literally hundreds of other offenses that have been committed by a number of other boxers, promoters and non boxing people alike.

Listen I don't think it's nice to harm animals but Gerald grew up in a mean enviroment. He was a born fighter and had a fighters instinct. He chose as pets dogs with the same fighting instinct and fought them in the same manner that he fought himself.

Was it cruel, yes, does it make him evil personified, absolutely not.

It's a cliche to say it but you can't judge a man unless you've walked in his shoes........
